I've finished packing up the items for my next fun-filled week in Pulau Tekong, going leave for the interchange 15 minutes later. Haha see you guys in 1 weeks time. Time flies so fast.

I had a good day yesterday, having some cool Orange Julius ice-cream and window shopping around Orchard Road, afterwhich I watched a movie called 'Lion for Lambs'. Its a good movie, though there was alot of conversation, the film delved deeply into the Iraq-War and the viewpoints and mental states of overall international community.

Tomorrow morning I would have to start packing up for my trip back to P. Tekong school, and more things to look forward to. I wonder what my commanders have planned for us.. lol. ^^.

Anyway the activity i enjoy most are the Swimming Lessons every Tuesday. The Physical Training Instructors are nice and fun, for that 1 hour of time we relax and enjoy.

Good friends are hard to come, and it takes lots of time to build up a strong relationship. I think after what I have done this year to my friends, they would probably be thinking I'm not worthy of the friendship anymore.. lol.

I don't blame them, after my un-caringness and irresponsiblity it should be what it is now :)

Now i have new friends from my bunkmates, will everything turn out well? I'm trying my best, but I don't expect much after i shunned my friends in the past who tried to care for and help me change.. :)

Back from school for 4 Days

Hello ppl im back from BMT School 2, for 4 short days man... life's there is really good and disciplined, How are all of you doing now?? :D

We have good food everyday, including Ice-Cream sumtimes, besides that I've made some friends from my bunk mates, going outing with them tomorrow to buy some Army Stuff, and watching a movie at Somerset, most probably Cineleisure or Lido i think haha.

We did alot of things there, including tidying our own bunk well, arranging our items in a stated specified manner and even washing our own clothes! lol.. its quite fun i think haha. My bunk mates were all friendly and helpful, I took some time to adjust to the way things were in the Camp and how it worked :) but glad things have all turned out well in the end.

There were times i felt discouraged, but continued on because everyone definitely makes it through, training is really fun, trust me haha but there was more freetime for us Pes C recruits compared to those of Pes A and B.

Well my hair looks different now too.. lol

Haha its really a new experience, im going to enjoy man, 5 more weeks to go!! :)

Shoot 'em up

I watched a movie, 'Shoot 'em up' on Wednesday at Cathay cineplex in amkhub. Haha.. Its a good M18 show, somehow violent tho.. ^^ I consider it a good with the right of mix of everything, including humour in some parts of it.

Life has been.. kinda fine i guess lol. I've been at home playing computer games for the past few weeks after quitting my job at fairprice, including an online game called the '9 Dragons'. Its about ancient China set during the Ming Dynasty, where different martial sects with conspiracies come together n start recruiting Disciples to lay down lives for them.. hehe :) There's really nth much to do now after im off work at 2pm everyday since tuesday :)

It was released in January 2007 in form of Open Beta, and is now officially released in May 2007.

I have 5 more months more to go, before taking a short holiday in Pulau Tekong.. my enlistment's in October, meanwhile some of my friends are going in in June/July,

Meanwhile i'm looking forward to the graduation ceremony on 11th June, and start serious physical training..

I've heard from some friends that to be eligible for a Sergeant/Officer training we would need at least a silver in our NAPFA test, how cool would it be to have $700-1k each month while serving our country. Oh man i wish I woulda got tat ;)

What a Weekend!

Talking about the weekends, besides meeting up with Simon on Saturday to discuss about the Potato Gun that we are going to make, he actually introduced it to me and im going to make a small one too coz it looks pretty cool :) We got our idea first from a youtube video,
We met up in the afternoon and went down to AngMoKio Industrial Park 1 to shop for the materials from hardware shops there, before that we went to his house and demonstrated the gun! BOOM haha right inside his storeroom was quite loud and very fun, as he had already made one beforehand. Really sounded like a gunshot.. LOL

I think its cool to make sumthing different, new and special, hehe besides jus working a 5 day week it really makes the weekends more fun :D

Today on Sunday, besides wishing my dear mother a Happy Mothers' Day and presenting her with our gifts, I had spent most of the day resting at home. I tot of going out at first but couldnt think of anywhere to go, as my friends Wenzhen, Jason and gang were mostly either too tired or busy today. Nevertheless it was a great day to rest for me as well :D

Todays' Mothers Day! Me and my sis bought a small necklace for my mum, and a fresh chocolate cake from Prima Deli. I was too busy working during the weekdays and actually forgot it all, fortunately my sis remembered it a few days before and went down to buy the gifts. We found the necklace from a shop at AngMoKio Hub, as we were sharing money to buy it, we decided to get something which isnt too expensive coz my sis doesnt save much either :P lol

It was still a good try at buying sumthing to please our mother, for all the hard work and sacrifices she has put it all the while to take care of us. She appeared rather surprised when we gave it to her today, Its good to know she appreciates it and likes it.

As usual, she told us that the best gift we can give her is to be more obedient and be more mature in the way we handle things haha. Ive made a resolution, this time we'll surely do it. :)

We've finally received the graduation letter confirming the date of it, which is on the 11 June, on this day all of us will receive our academic certifications and awards. It certainly marks 3 years of fun and excitement in poly, and the result of all our hard work and perseverance.

I certainly hope all my friends can attend the ceremony, it will be a great chance to bring everyone i've known in polytechnic together in our smart graduation attires. Hmm as for the graduation attire Ive decided to purchase it, tho it costs $39 its going to be worth reminding of the memories that accompany me on my way ahead.. :)

Thats it for now i gotta go, haha as for labour day besides spending the time at home, it was great day for me to take a short break

A good change

Days have been good for me these few days. As i was too tired after work,i only posted pictures.

Now adays, my entertainment after work is chatting with my friends and enjoying the time and pleasure of that.

I have cut down on playing DOTA alot which is a good thing,as i am going to be an adult soon,turning 21 in a year's time, which is a good thing. I think afterall, it is what a guy of my age should do, find a job and support himself

I went with Kok Yong on the 5th day of the trip, its the 3rd highest mountain in Korea, with main activities hiking, camping and climbing. There's a short cable car trip available to the top as well, tho it wasnt included in our tour package

We had to climb a trip up the mountain which involves walking and stepping on snow, a new experience for me.

Here are some pics i took, the fountain was taken when we finally reached the end of the hike, hope you guys like them :)

Since starting work at Popular on Friday 3 days ago, it has been fun and exciting, I worked from 10am - 7pm, helping out at the Singapore Poly for the new batch of students coming to buy textbooks in their new semester.

I met 2 guys who were working temp there as well, they are friendly and easy to talk to, glad that my colleagues are all helpful and kind to newcomers, as I had to learn quite a few things.

Life after work is fun, relaxing and doing the things i enjoy most
